Click here to see more info about Escuela Puerta Abierta. We collaborate with this truly impressive innovative indigenous rural school in Santiago Atitlan. Mothers make the adorable felt ornaments, adding pieces of recycled traditional skirt fabric. That’s how they pay their children’s tuition! 

Felt, repurposed cotton traditional handwoven tube skirt fabric, some with mylar ("brilliante"), and polyester fiberfill.

Handmade, so no two are exactly alike. 

Mom 6" x 5 3/4 " x 2" with cord with drop length of 3" - 4"

Joey 2 1/2" x 1" is removable from mom's pouch. You can sew it in if you you are concerned it might be lost. No lost babies, please! : - )

The design appears on both sides of the ornament.
