Bring the depth of rich tradition and storytelling to your table setting with the artfully crafted Indigo Jaspe Table Runner.  Handwoven on a traditional backstrap loom by our artisan partners in Sololá, this unique runner features a white maiz jaspe (ikat) motif on an indigo background.  In the jaspe (ikat) technique, threads are carefully tied and dyed, then meticulously woven to reveal a design that is often inspired by nature.  This table runner features a pattern of maiz, or corn, the most signficant crop for the Maya people, representing the very gift of life from Mother Earth to her children.  Woven from naturally dyed indigo threads and finished with hand-twisted fringe.  Available in two lengths.

This checkered pine needle basket is made from pine needles and pajon, a native grass in Guatemala, with hand-dyed raffia for colorful accents.
