Twelve years ago we met Rafael selling his beautiful hand-carved coconut shell jewelry to tourists on the shore of Lake Atitlán. Eliza and her mom visited Rafael and his family and watched in marvel as he showed us the entire process of creating a necklace. We then worked with him to develop a line of over 100 designs.
